LexisNexis® PC Law™
Attorney Services and Planning LLC (ASAP) provides Certified Independent Contractors (CIC) for PC Law™. PC Law™ is an easy to use program developed for the law firm. A full accounting program with an emphasis on Trust Fund management, works directly with client billing thereby eliminating time consuming double entry, which almost always leads to reporting numbers that don’t match. This program has the ability to manage calendar, case information, phone calls, emails and documents. Payroll and the acceptance of credit card payments from your clients are also built-in features.

Corel WordPerfect X4
WordPerfect X4 now offers more than 60 file formats from competing applications. You can open, edit and save Microsoft® Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® files, including Microsoft Office 2007. It also contains new support for PDF file formatting including import scanned PDFs, PDF password protection and automatic PDF viewing. The newest version now provides strong tools for legal and long documents, security features, redaction (replace sensitive or confidential information with a black bar to ensure that the replaced text cannot be retrieved or revealed), and metadata removal to ensure that your documents containing sensitive information remain confidential.

Microsoft® Office

Microsoft® Word 2007

Dragon Naturally Speaking v10 Legal
This Windows-based application offers legal professionals a faster, more efficient way to create documents using voice command. By dictating directly to your computer, you can input information three times faster than most people type. Many times, transcription services can be eliminated as you produce documents already typed into your programs for review and processing. Version 10 Legal can be set up to recognize your voice in about 15 minutes and contains many features to automate your workflow.

Customized Office Procedure Manuals
ASAP will work with your attorneys and staff to analyze the office workflow as it pertains to case management, document management, file management, billing, bookkeeping and other procedures. We will then create a procedure manual based on how the day to day activities are handled in your firm. By having a standardized referral source, you can eliminate the inconsistency produced when every staff member has their own method. You will also drastically reduce the negative effect of employee turnover and the risk of missed deadlines, lost documents, and sporadic follow up. ASAP can analyze, create and produce your manual as well as train employees on its use.

Billing
ASAP provides monthly billing services. Outsourcing the production of pre-bills and sending of bills eliminates the problem of irregular billing. We will work on-site as often as necessary to manage check writing, bill payment, client receipts, bank reconciliation and the accounting reports. ASAP will work with your office to make sure you have the capability of handling the everyday needs of check writing while leaving the bulk of the work to us. If you prefer to keep you bookkeeping in-house, we can assist in setting up your program to meet the firm needs and train the staff person who will handle the bookkeeping. If the work is performed correctly, your monthly and end of year reports will be easy to produce and accurate. ASAP can provide the services you need to have confidence in your books.
